This song reminds of a series from the late 1980s called Tour of Duty, it used to be on about 1am on Saturday/Sunday, i would have been about 13 at the time. Due to it being about Vietnam War and its content being very strong, i was never allowed to watch it, fortunately for me, my mum would go to bed early. I would set my alarm, sneek down the stairs, avoiding the creeking steps to watch it with my face pressed up against the tv as the volume was sooooo low as not to wake the house.
